Siblings are welcome to attend, but you must be responsible for them at all times. They must remain in your control as long as they are at the event. 

This event is our major fundraiser and will raise money to help fund PTA-sponsored activities, including providing supplies to teachers and staff, student reading programs, the Boo Bash fall festival, purchasing needed equipment for the school, and outreach to newcomers.

 

Students collect pledges for each lap that they will try to run.  Every child receives a free t-shirt thanks to our generous sponsors, plus we will award prizes for the most laps and pledge money collected. 

 

There are two ways to donate:

1. Your child collects a pledge to donate based on how many laps run.

2. A flat donation per student (please consider a minimum of $25 per student).

 

All pledge money will be due Oct 4.

The 9th Annual GSES Fit and Fun Run is Thursday, September 26, on the GSES campus during PE Classes.

If We Reach:

$25,000: Students will have an in-school silly string party

$30,000: Mrs D and Mr. S will race while each wearing an inflatable dinosaur costume 

$45,000: Mrs D will draw a student for Principal for A Day

Every student who brings in at least $50 has a chance to win something during our Fit & Fun prize drawing to be held live on the WOWL News on October 20th!

 Participants will receive another entry for every additional $50 donation.

For example: $50 = 1 entry, $100 = 2 entries, $150 = 3 entries
